WESTY ADMINISTRATOR HONORED WITH TOP BUSINESS LEADER AWARD
Lottie Wilson, Westminster High School's (WHS) Career and Technical Education (CTE) Administrator, was honored in early April with the prestigious Colorado Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Administrator of the Year award, recognizing her exceptional contributions to student growth and success. Her commitment to fostering business understanding and leadership skills among students has garnered widespread recognition in and outside the school.
In her seven years as CTE administrator, Wilson has transformed the program by expanding the number of courses and opportunities for students to excel in diverse pathways.
Wilson also serves a pivotal role in the “Ranum Reimagined” campus helping to create a state-of-the art facility to provide students greater opportunities for that critical day after graduation. The Ranum campus will open in the fall with 3 pathways for students, and expand in the future to provide classes for adult learners as well.
Malcolm Davis, the Business Marketing teacher at WHS nominated Wilson, writing that she has demonstrated, “unwavering support and dedication.”
