Imagine a world without computers. It seems impossible, right? That's why computer science matters! They are the driver behind nearly every technological advancement of the last few decades, from smartphones to solar panels. Computers are everywhere, and we are ready to prepare young men and women for a future in this field! Get a head start on your Computer Science career through our CS pathway. No matter your current experience, you will learn the skills to work with software, hardware, networking, and security. You will also learn the skills to earn various respected industry credentials and college credits while in school.

WHS Courses:

  • PLTW Computer Science Essentials
  • PLTW Cybersecurity
  • PLTW Computer Science Principles  
  • PLTW Computer Science Advanced 
  • PC Maintenance 
  • Video Game Design 

Advanced Credit/Industry Credential(s):

  • Students can earn college credit through select courses in our program from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, with the potential to earn 12 college credits at the end of four years.
  • Students can also earn the CompTIA IT Fundamentals, Pearson IT Specialist Suite, and Unity Certified Associate suite of credential(s) through this pathway. 

Computer Sciences / Information Technology Student Organization - SkillsUSA

  • All students on this pathway have the opportunity to join SkillsUSA.  Student organizations help students provide training and realistic learning experiences to prepare students for career employment, develop leadership skills, and more.  If you are interested, ask Mrs. Tasha Askin, Mr. Robert Ferguson, or Mr. Sergio Figueroa how you can be a part of our team!
